I love these lamps so much that I bought 3 of them! I will share 2 of them with family as they are great gifts. I really like the lamp. It was charged up and ready to light up the room. My only concern was pulling the accordion pleat apart, to open the lamp, the actual accordion pleats were really stiff and hard to pull open, I thought I was going to break it, by pulling so hard, but once the pleats opened up, it was easier to open it the next time. I was worried that it would not open, it was not obvious to just pull the top and bottom parts away from each other, the insert instructions were not clear. So I just pulled really hard, and the pleats opened and the light turned on, and it was beautiful.

This is a very versatile little lamp. She far I mainly use it in the bedroom and bath. It provides a warm glowing light. I hang it over my headboard to read and in it’s collapsed position with one tap it’s a great little night light when needed. I highly recommend this little lamp.

I gave six of these lamps as holiday gifts and everyone is pleased. One minor issue - the directions need to include a notation that the lamp is hard to expand as it is very stiff material. Some people were afraid they'd break or tear the lamp if they used too much force. Once it has been expanded, however, it gets easier to do.

I gave this as a gift to my 90 year old friend. She loves both the design, its usefulness, and ease of use. This area has an electric company that's announced huge rate increases next month. She's been carrying around a fake candle with a tiny LED light to conserve power. It's not safe at all for someone at risk of falling. Your lantern works much better.
